HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO GET MY HAIR BRAIDED? It's my first time...?

It's been three months since I had my hair cut short to the point where I was practically bald...I did this so I'd know how long it's going to take for me to grow my hair long enough for cornrows...I knew 3mos wasn't going to be long enough, but does anybody know about how long it'll take if I started with almost no hair?

It depends on how fast your hair can grow. i would say 2-3 inches is enough to get started but it also depends on who braids your hair. some ppl can work with short hair while others need the hair to be long enough to hold on to, without having the hair slip between their fingers. i also believe that it will be easier on the person doing the cornrows if they have good experience with it.

mine takes approximately 7 hrs. and that's 7 hrs straight.

Well I know it doesn't sound macho but guys can get extent ions in their hair for braids and you cant tell however... I would give it till January and If you are tender headed may the force be with you ....
