On girls -- Short hair or long hair? What do you think looks best?

Currently I have sort of long hair and I'm debating on whether or not I should change it up and cut it!

First off, please realize I don't mean boy haircut short. I mean, shoulder length short.

I'm undecided, I think both can look really cute but I also think just about every girl has long hair lately.

I think it depends on your face structure and overall look. Some women look great with shorter hair while others look good with long hair. My coworker had long hair down past her bottom. She is from India and never cut her hair. She cut it to down her back and a little past her shoulders in the front. She looks like a different person. She looks fantastic. Whatever you decide, you can always change but growing your hair back or cutting it off. Ask your hair stylist what would work for you. Good luck.

Short and healthy hair is better than long, fryed and dry hair-----then again, long healthy hair is better than short hair (more feminine), but the pictures you chose all showcase long hair.

When hairstylists refer to short hair, they typically mean hair above the jawline. At the shoulders is medium length, and a few inches below the shoulders and longer is long hair. Whether hair is a few inches below the shoulders or 10 inches below the shoulders makes no difference, its all about how healthy the hair is and how you style it.

I like longer hair . . . why do you want to cut it . . easier to maintain or just a new look? Is your hair curly or straight . . . a shoulder cut looks nice if your hair isn't too flat . . . if it has some poof to it, it usually looks great . . .

depends on your face and age. Younger ppl can wear long hair, but older ppl need to stay away from it. If you have really thin or fine hair, I would not grow it long. Talk to a professional at your nearby salon.
