im getin my haircut soon nd i relly like the short bobs with a side part that r like pin straight. my mom likes relly long wavy hair. I donated my hair to Locks Of Love twice nd both times my mom cryed! right now my hair is like 6 inches below my shoulders nd is all the same length, kinda curly, nd brown with some natural blone highlights. i dnt wana dye it but i want a new look i have kinda chubby cheeks nd brown eyes. i dont think my mom will let me get my hair cut short but i think i might wana, but if i get it cut nd hate it i cant relly do anything. nd if my mom DOES let me get it cut short, shell be pissed at me. so shld i play it safe nd get a long layered cut like my mom wants or the bob like i want?

i think your a very kind and genorous person for giving your hair to people that dont have any if u want to donate it that is very nice. Your mom has her own ways and you have yours you should do what's best for you.

In the past when I have listened to other people instead of listening to my heart when it comes to a personal decision like getting my hair cut, I have just ended up unhappy and dissapointed that I didnt do what I wanted to do. Dont let what others' (your mom) want affect what you decide to do in the end. I personally think short hair says spunky and daring. It sounds like a good idea to me.

If you have chubby cheeks don't get a bob - they look best on skinny faced people. Look for something more flattering.

i personally think you should get it cut the way your mom likes it. i once tried the haircut you like and it is so frustrating because you have to straighten it and then get the ends cut so it would look even and if you dont then it will look very very bad. but also you could try the haircut your mom likes than after a while the one you like, that way you both will be happy

i think it's really cool that you've given your hair to locks of love and your mom should be proud of you. you should do what you want with your hair. bobs are quite cute, but it sounds like you have curly hair, so you would have to make a commitment to straightening it almost every day, which can be hard to keep up. i love the style, though!
