I am thinking about cutting my hair off. I like it long but it is a hassle to deal with. I am not going barely there hair but a nice bob hair cut with layers and highlights.

Do guys really care or should I just do what I want.

I have waist length hair and get compliments on it from both male and females. I find it very easy to take care of. If it is hot or I am going someplace special I can always put it up. I think styling is more limited for short hair.For a while I went thru the perm thing with almost shoulder length hair and it took a long time every day to take care of it. Bottom line here ask your partner their preference, and then meet somewhere in the middle, or do your own thing. I am sure if they love you your hairstyle is not going to matter, but you want the sexual attraction to remain.

Different guys like different things - some guys like fat women some like average women some guys like thin wome and some guys like guys! Are you with anyone at the moment? If yes then find out what they like - if no then just do it for you and enjoy it - the right guy will come along wether your hair is long or short.

I used to work for a couple and his wife had short permed hair (asian couple) she told me once that she used to have beautiful long hair but her husband didnt like it and to marry him she had to cut it short - they have a daughter and she has her hair long and he hated it - he was always complaining about it.. I have long hair and he was always commenting on it - this guy really did have a thing about long hair but I just found him very odd but at the time I needed the work so just put up with it.

Personally I just say if you want to go a little shorter then just do it and enjoy it :)

i cant speak for all guys-myself i prefer long hair-i would say about 85% prefer long hair

its also about the heart-when u truely love someone it doest usually matter-but for a friend to go to the next level -its good to make that impression they prefer

Almost every guy I know likes long hair but of course you should do what YOU want. I think long hair is easier to take care of. Short hair needs constant trimming to look good and it seems the beautician would change the style every time.

First... you should do what you want and makes you feel good about yourself. Feeling good about yourself is more attractive than long/short/curly/whatever hair style.

Second... some girls look nice with long hair.... then they cut it... and they look totally sexy... the same happens the other way around... that's just how it is.

Finally... yes, long hair seems to be more attractive, you can change your look every day and you can "play" more with it than with short hair.

men are REALLY PREDICTABLE in this case. i am going to go out on a limb here and say this: "they almost always want long hair on the woman, AND very little if any make up". it is the same man that may tell you that you take too long to get ready to go out OR after the comfortable stage sets in, he may even tell you you dont look so good and all you know is that you dont have any make up on. see, until they REALIZE that they wouldnt be there if you hadnt worn the make up in the first place you are going to have to learn to live with the age old fact: men want long hair. yes. 98% of them anyway.and for Petes sake, YES DO WHAT YOU WANT IT SOUNDS LIKE A NICE STYLE.(ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH WHAT YOU OWN!)

I believe most guys like long hair,but do what makes you happy,heres a little secret guys like long because they never think about the hassle,what i mean is if you cut your hair he may not like it at first but hell begin to notice that it doesn't take you nearly as long to get ready,then hell love it,what do most guys complain about anyway,(how long it takes us to get ready).go ahead cut your hair it will payoff,it worked for me.

When I first met my husband, my hair was past my waist. After we got to know each other and started getting serious, he BEGGED me to cut it. I thought he was nuts, but he said he hated waking up with it all over him in bed and finding long blonde strands of hair in the bathroom, etc. I finally gave in and he was giddy with joy. We've been married 13 years now and while I still like it long, he's still happiest when I cut it short.

Being a guy, personally, when my gf asked me what I thought about hair, I told her I liked it if she kept it any length between the shoulder-level down till an inch above the 'belly-button level' as some call it :p However, I prefer hair that is spot in between.

Then again, mine reaches the 'belly button' level, for now anyway.

Do what you want to with your hair you are the one that has to live with it..me i like long hair and my hair is very long i sit on it and my hubby doesnt like me with short hair..who cares what the men think...lol...my hair just grows so fast that i would have to get it cut once a week to keep a style i dont want to do that cost to much these days..so do what you want to with it....it will grow out in time..

In all honesty, I dont think there's a single man on Planet earth that really cares what we look like, so long as their getting what they want... And we all know what that is!! I mean, they think with their other head, not the one on their shoulders, hardly, at all..
