I'm biracial. I don't know how I should do my hair. Help!?

I kind of want to get my hair cut short.

But then again I don't. My hair is pretty curly..

I love it when it's wet but when it gets dry it poofs out again.

If I got my hair cut short then I would want to

have it straight with bangs and such..

But my bangs that I have right now are REALLY damaged.

How do I treat the bangs and how should I get my hair done?

Please help.

What does your hair have to do with being biracial at all? Do your hair how you want, just trim your hair.

I'm half black and half white so I just shave mine. If you're a girl that might not work for you.

It depends on what two races you are but maybe you should get your hair relaxed or permed straight? If your bangs are really damaged right now, stop damaging it and wait until it grows out. THEN cut your hair short and relax it. Personally, if you have curly hair, I wouldn't recommend cutting it short though. Everytime the roots grow back, you'd have to get it straightened again which is expensive and also damaging.

sounds like we have the same hair, I went to my hairdresser (and not supercuts) and told her what I didnt want. like not above shoulders and no bangs (or if you are willing to have them, tell them that) ask about getting it layerd. layers have changed so much from the 8s... it makes curls so easy to control and still feel full. if you like how your hair is wet, try some gel or leave in product.

if you want to leave your hair out curly just put some type of aerosol hold with natural movement. It works really well and keeps your hair hot all day. To take care of the damaged bangs, just get your hair washed weekly, use some nexus emergency treatment and keep your hair greased and healthy. Cut your split ends and you'll see great results.

I'm half asian and half black, so I have the same problem. I suggest not cutting it short, or it will poof up (been there, done that). I used to be soo frustrated with my hair because I didn't know what to do with it (which led me to try layers %26amp; that was awful).

I usually wear my hair curly because I have too much hair to straighten it often. Besides, it damages your hair, and you said that your bangs are already damaged. Also do not put any chemicals in your hair, it'll just damage it. So, no chemicals %26amp; don't straighten it too often (once a month is the most you should do).

To style my hair, I wet my hair every morning (and I don't comb it out.. just finger comb) %26amp; then I use Sunsilk Frizz Ease 24/7 creme (green bottle). Also, I FINALLY got my sample for anti-poof, but I haven't tried it out yet. I heard it weighs your hair down. Anyway, after that I usually use mousse to enhance my curls more (I'm using Garnier Curl Construct, but I like Tresseme Curl Care better). Then I just let my hair air dry %26amp; I get really pretty curls.

Hairstyles.. I put my hair in a ponytail or a curly bun usually. Sometimes I braid my hair too. As for cutting it, my hair is in [very] long layers (there are only about two or three layers). This thinned out my hair some and made it more manageable (if you were wondering, my hair is at my bra strap when wet) and not poofy at all. The layers also makes my hair look nice when I wear it down.

If you're wondering, Garnier Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner works REALLY well on my hair, and if you're looking for shampoo%26amp;conditioner, you should try it.

I'm sorry this is so long, but I hope it helps!
